22.5 billion rubles will be allocated to Don for healthcare in 2022

In the Rostov region, it is planned to allocate 22.5 billion rubles for healthcare in 2022, and more than 59 billion rubles by 2025. Such amounts are provided in the draft budget for the coming years.

According to the press service of the Don Governor, these funds are planned for the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of healthcare facilities, equipping primary vascular departments, medical organizations providing medical care to patients with cancer, and providing medicines to citizens with expensive equipment.

As RBC Rostov previously reported, the Don region will receive 1.81 billion rubles to support the regional healthcare system. The funds are provided from the federal budget. The money will be used to finance the costs associated with the provision of medical care, including to persons suffering from COVID-19 .
