The Ministry of Industry and Trade explained the request to metallurgists for oxygen reserves

Medical oxygen is supplied to the Russian regions in the required quantity, RBC was told in the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

“Supplies are coming. Nevertheless, preventing all possible risks, in the current epidemiological situation (when the number of patients in need of oxygen support is growing, and consequently, the need for oxygen is also increasing), the Ministry of Industry and Trade is analyzing the possibilities of additionally increasing the reserves of medical oxygen,” the ministry said.

The press service indicated that they are interacting with consumers of technical gases to obtain detailed information about the reserves.

Сделать это необходимо для увеличения поставок медицинского кислорода в больницы.

До этого, 23 июня, премьер-министр Михаил Мишустин поручил правительству до 30 июня доложить о принятии мер для недопущения дефицита кислорода в медучреждениях, где содержатся больные с COVID-19.
