Matvienko called the federal lockdown due to COVID-19 inappropriate

There are no grounds for introducing a federal lockdown in RUSSIA due to the CORONAVIRUS. This was stated by the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko in an interview with RT.

“There are no grounds for introducing a federal lockdown. And I want to calm our business, and enterprises, and people, ”said Matvienko.

According to her, this measure is inappropriate, as it will have extremely negative consequences for people and for the country as a whole.

On October 6, Matviyenko also spoke about the fact that there would be no federal lockdown due to COVID-19. “I am sure that there will be no federal lockdown,” she said, adding that forced vaccination of the population in Russia was also ruled out.
