Israel disposes of about 80,000 coronavirus vaccines

Israel is disposing of 80,000 coronavirus vaccines that expire at midnight on August 1, according to the Times of Israel.

"Israel intends to dispose of 80,000 COVID-19 vaccines that expire at midnight," the statement said.

The approximate cost of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines to be disposed of is 6 million shekels ($1.8 million - ).

“The State of Israel manages its vaccine stocks by paying attention to the expiration date of the product,” the country’s health ministry said.
