On March 14, mandatory vaccination against covid-19 for certain categories of citizens was canceled in Tatarstan. The corresponding decree was signed by the Chief Sanitary DOCTOR of the Republic of Tatarstan Marina Patyashina. The reason was the coverage of the region's population with vaccinations, which exceeded 80%.
Suspension of activities
In Kazan, due to the current socio-economic situation, the activities of 40 trade enterprises were suspended. At the same time, the employment of workers has been preserved, their salaries will be paid in full, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin said on March 14.
DIRECTOR of the Kazan Employment Center Timur Mullin said that the country's government is considering the possibility of taking additional measures aimed at reducing tensions in the labor market and maintaining current employment. “One of the measures could be compensation for part of the cost of paying wages,” he said.
According to the Ministry of Labor, in Kazan, in total, there are 345 enterprises with foreign participation.
Demand for SUGAR
Over the week, the demand for sugar in the Republic of Tatarstan increased 16 times. Purchases of cereals increased 4 times, buckwheat - 5 times, frozen MEAT - 3 times, sunflower oil - 9 times, SALT - 7 times, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Marat Zyabbarov said on March 15.
