The Google Translate translation service has stopped offering to replace the phrase dear russians (dear Russians) with dead russian (dead Russians), Reuters reports. Interfax was confirmed by Google to correct the error.

Earlier in the day, Roskmonadzor demanded that Google take measures to correct the situation, explaining that it had identified a “violation of an extremist nature” in the service. “There were no such offers for search queries mentioning other nationalities,” the regulator stressed.
