FMBA asked the Ministry of Health to allow treatment with Mir-19 at home

The Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) has submitted an application to the Ministry of HEALTH for a permit to register the Mir-19 CORONAVIRUS drug for use in outpatient treatment, the press service of the agency told RBC.

The drug is planned to be used for home treatment in the first days after the confirmation of the diagnosis of covid-19 .

Mir-19 is administered by inhalation using medical nebulizers.

The HEAD of the FMBA called the drug "Mir-19" universal for all strains of covid Society

The Ministry of Health registered Mir-19 for treatment in hospitals in December last year. According to the agency, the effectiveness of the drug was studied in the red zone in patients with moderate severity of COVID-19. The medicine showed effectiveness in comparison with standard therapy, noted in it.
