
The Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital (RCCH) has announced an electronic auction for the supply of Levilimab, a drug used to treat a severe form of coronavirus infection. The initial maximum price of the contract is 21.9 million rubles.
The customers of the drug are 12 medical institutions of the region. In addition to the RCCH, the medicine will be delivered to the Chishminsky, Meleuzovsky, Mesyagutovsky, Belebeevskaya, Birskaya central district hospitals, the Republican Clinical Hospital for War Veterans, the city hospitals of Salavat, Kumertau, Neftekamsk, Ufa hospitals No. hospitals.
The solution for subcutaneous administration of "Levilimab" should be supplied at a dosage of 180 mg / ml, in total 694.8 ml or 386 packs of two syringes per 0.9 ml of the drug are purchased. 200 packages will be delivered to the RCCH, 50 packages to the Neftekamsk hospital and the 8th hospital in Ufa. Other medical institutions will receive from 5 to 25 packages, only one package is purchased by the Chishminskaya CRH. The average cost of a package of the drug is about 57 thousand rubles, the purchase will be financed at the expense of medical institutions.
Medicines must be delivered to hospitals within ten days from the date of the contract. The remaining shelf life of the drug should be at least eight months. An electronic auction to determine the supplier is scheduled for September 6.
As RBC reported, the Russian Ministry of Health issued a registration certificate for the Levilimab drug (trade name Ilsira) in July 2020. Then it was reported that the drug would be used to treat patients with severe COVID-19 , who develop the so-called cytokine storm. With it, patients show an excessive inflammatory reaction to the introduction of the virus, which leads to damage to organs and tissues, including the lungs.
