Denmark has lifted the latest CORONAVIRUS restrictions. This became possible because the Danish government decided at the end of August not to renew the regulation that defines the coronavirus infection covid-19 as a particularly dangerous disease. This document expired September 10th.
Because of this, the agreement on the gradual lifting of restrictions (.pdf) ceased to operate, according to which the observance of all the remaining restrictive measures in the country should have been canceled on October 1.
Denmark began lifting coronavirus restrictions from June 14. Then citizens were allowed not to wear masks everywhere, except for public transport, they extended the opening hours of restaurants, and increased the number of people allowed to be indoors at the same time. The authorities have also allowed to go to theaters, cinemas and museums without covid passports proving the fact of vaccination or a negative PCR test.
As of September 1, Denmark has abolished the requirement to present covid passports for visiting restaurants, fitness clubs, mass outdoor events, summer camps, playgrounds and swimming places.
Now nightclubs, indoor events have been added to this list. Restrictions on working hours, the number of visitors and keeping a distance for public catering, shops and mass events have been lifted.
