Large electronics manufacturers, tired of the Chinese Communist Party's chronic struggle with the CORONAVIRUS, are gradually moving production from China to other countries.
The slow migration of factories started last year, when it became clear that the trade war between China and the United States was in earnest and for a long time. When unrest began in China amid severe covid restrictions, the discussion that it was time for factories to leave China spilled into the public plane. The most high-profile event was the protests in Zhengzhou: the world's "iPhone forge" is located there, where three of the four iPhones on Earth are made, including the newest model.
India and VietnamThe latest line of iPhones will be partly manufactured in India, while Google's Pixel will be made in Vietnam, according to The New York Times, citing sources. APPLE has already moved iPad production to North Vietnam, MICROSOFT is making Xbox in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam this year, and Amazon is assembling its Fire TVs in Chennai, India.
