Banks responded to Sobyanin's demand to remove

The recommendation announced by the Moscow authorities to transfer at least 30% of employees to remote work will not drastically affect the activities of credit institutions.

As RBC was told in the press service of Alfa-Bank, now more than 70% of employees work remotely. “The announced restrictions will not affect the work of the bank,” the bank said.

The offices of Otkritie Bank will continue to work in compliance with all the necessary epidemiological safety requirements for customers and employees, the press service of the organization said.

At Otkritie, employees will continue to wear masks and gloves. The bank clarified that they practice a hybrid mode of operation, when no more than 50% of the staff are in the offices to maintain social distance.
