Bill 5425-d “On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the rate of value added tax in transactions for the supply of certain types of agricultural products”, which the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine insisted on, was adopted today by the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The mistake made when introducing a one-time reduction of the VAT rate to 14% in only one link in the supply chain, which caused the loss of MILK processors and the revival of shadow operations in the dairy market, has now been eliminated.
