February 26, Minsk. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection spoke about the most significant innovations included in the draft law "On amendments to laws on labor relations", which were being worked on in 2022, BelTA informs.

The main thing in the bill is to improve the regulation of remote work. It is planned that it can be carried out in the form of combined work, which allows to alternate periods of performing work remotely or at the workplace in the organization, or to perform it on a temporary basis for a certain period of time.

It is proposed to release workers, depending on age, for one or two days a year from work to undergo medical examination while maintaining average earnings at the place of work.

A more flexible approach to the use of a free day a week by parents with many children, as well as parents raising a disabled child under the age of 18, is expected. We are talking about the possibility of replacing one additional day off from work per week by reducing working days by one hour.

It also offers the possibility of replacing the issuance of milk to an employee with monetary compensation.

The bill "On changing the laws on labor relations" was adopted in the first reading in the House of Representatives of the National Assembly. Currently, the draft law is being prepared for its consideration in the second reading.
