July 26, Brest. The prosecutor's office of the Kobrin district supported the state prosecution in a criminal case on forgery, BelTA informs with reference to the information service of the prosecutor's office of the Brest region.

The foreman of a dairy farm and an individual entrepreneur were in the dock. From October 1, 2020 to December 28, 2021, a woman entered false information into the records of the movement of milk on the farm. During this time, she overestimated the volumes of received and sold milk by more than 8 tons. With the complicity of the IP, in order to pay off the milk debt to the processing enterprise, she ensured the shipment of more than 6 tons of water to the plant instead. The defendants voluntarily compensated Br5.7 thousand for the damage caused.

The court of the Kobrin district found the farm foreman guilty under Part 1 of Article 427 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code. She was sentenced to two years of restraint of liberty without being sent to an open correctional facility. An individual entrepreneur under part 6 of article 16, part 1 of article 427 (complicity in official forgery) of the Criminal Code received three years of restriction of freedom with a fine of Br1.6 thousand.

The verdict has not entered into force. It can be appealed and protested on appeal.
