July 12, MINSK. In the Dokshitsy district in the forest, a calf fell into bitumen, and rescuers came to help him. This was reported to BelTA in the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On July 11, at 10:30 a.m., the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message that a calf had been found in a forest near the Shunevka memorial complex, which had fallen into bitumen and could not get out on its own. “We immediately informed the employees of the Dokshitsky District Executive Committee, the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen, the regional inspection of natural resources and environmental protection, and the veterinary station about such an incident,” said Yevgeny Matskevich, deputy HEAD for ideological and personnel work of the Dokshitsky district emergency department. we drove up to the place, we were met on the road by citizens who discovered the animal, and took us to it. The calf was exhausted and did not move at all."

Wasting no time, experts set about saving the animal. "We began to pour water on it and slowly remove the layers of bitumen from the body and around it. After that, the injured animal was examined by a veterinarian DOCTOR and provided him with first aid," the Ministry of Emergency Situations added.
