The results of the cleanup day held in the Gomel Region on November 29 to clean up the territories of agricultural organizations, as well as the upcoming tasks, were discussed at a staff meeting of the regional executive committee, BelTA reports.

As Ivan Krupko, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, emphasized, a decision has been made to conduct a sanitary and technological cleanup every other week. "We will reach every farm. We will deploy all our resources, all our reserves," the head of the region emphasized.

He set the goal of analyzing each district, covering both compliance with regulations and cleanup efforts. The overall assessment of the work will be based on the results of the region's agricultural sector, including milk and meat production.

Anatoly Gaponik, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee's Committee on Agriculture and Food, noted that the regional cleanup day on November 29 took place at livestock facilities, machinery and tractor depots, and other agricultural facilities. According to him, labor teams worked at 647 sites in 144 agricultural enterprises—a total of almost 11,000 people. More than 8,600 came from agricultural organizations, and over 2,100 from their sponsored enterprises. 1,070 pieces of various equipment were also deployed.

"As a result, cleanup work was carried out at 423 livestock facilities, 121 machinery and tractor depots, 61 warehouses, 33 grain threshing floors, and nine other facilities. Territories were cleaned at 647 agricultural facilities. Whitewashing was completed at 375 livestock buildings, 125 exercise areas were repaired, and 224 calf shelter areas were cleaned and washed. Driveways and access roads were planned at 125 facilities, and fences were repaired at 174 facilities, totaling approximately 3,875 linear meters. Feeding table lighting was also repaired, and welding work was carried out to restore gates, stall equipment, and watering systems," the chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Food announced the results.

Organic waste was also removed. "Over the weekend, 64,000 tons of organic matter were removed, including 23,000 tons added," Anatoly Gaponik clarified.

"We're not slowing down. The President set targets for the entire country at the meeting in Vitebsk. We're working on every district, every farm, not just every livestock farm, but everything there is. We're determining what needs to be done directly by agricultural organizations themselves and what needs to be done jointly with their sponsoring enterprises," Ivan Krupko concluded.
