July 26, Shklov. At the Shklov butter factory, with the gradual modernization of production, the volume of raw
MILK processing increased by 2.5 times. First Deputy
DIRECTOR - Chief Engineer of the Shklov Butter Factory Andrei Sekatsky told reporters about this, BELTA correspondent reports.
“We are modernizing, we are not standing still - since 2019, we have been systematically updating equipment,” noted Andrei Sekatsky. “The last to be introduced was a line for the production of butter, which we launched in December 2023. Today we produce butter
in various packaging - from small up to 5 kg, 10 kg and even 20 kg."
The butter production line has already reached full capacity, for which, among other things, equipment section No. 1, which produces cream, which is subsequently needed for butter processing, has been replaced. Just a week ago the updated facility became operational. By the way, all the necessary production equipment was purchased by the enterprise at its own expense without attracting third-party investors. Since the beginning of this year alone, Br4.5 million has been spent on modernizing the plant.
“Even about five years ago, we processed about 45 tons of raw milk per day, now these volumes have increased to 100-115 tons of raw materials,” said the first deputy director. “We are releasing a complete list of whole milk products:
milk ,
kefir , fermented baked milk, baked milk, cottage cheese, butter, sour cream, 35-40% goes to the domestic market, the rest goes to the Russian Federation: Bryansk, Smolensk and
St. Petersburg . For example, supplies go to this northern region three times. a week when we started with one time.”
According to Andrei Sekatsky,
it is now very difficult to successfully compete in the market, especially since food industry giants are already working in this industry in the region. However, they have already developed their own customers who primarily value Shklov products for their naturalness: pasteurized milk here has the longest shelf life - only 14 days, and this primarily indicates the high quality of the product. Dairy goods are not delayed in warehouses;
work is carried out mainly on demand - everything is sold out immediately.
