February 6,
Moscow . Ambassadors of a number of CIS countries to
RUSSIA, at the invitation of the
HEAD of the Belarusian diplomatic mission Dmitry Krutoy, visited the Belarusian pavilion at VDNKh in Moscow on February 6, where the Days of the Vitebsk Region are currently being held, BELTA reports.
The heads of the diplomatic missions of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, accompanied by Dmitry Krutoy, inspected the exposition of the Vitebsk region in detail, became acquainted with its history, culture and economic potential. Moreover, the diplomats had the opportunity to become more than just spectators: in particular, they took part in a master class on painting Vitebsk gingerbread cookies, and tried their skills in the printing technique - applying colorful patterns to linen fabrics.
The ambassadors also walked through the Belarusian trade pavilions, where
food products , light industry products, and cosmetics were presented. Representatives of the CIS countries were especially impressed by the “First” brand store. “We were very impressed by what is now being produced in Belarus, especially the store where they sell T-shirts with statements from the President of Belarus. I will definitely choose some merch for myself and buy
it,” promised the Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vagharshak Harutyunyan.
“I have been using Belarusian products for many years, because they are high-quality and have a minimum of chemicals,” admitted the Armenian diplomat. “All this distinguishes Belarusian products: naturalness, quality and affordability.”
“Our words of gratitude to Ambassador Dmitry Krutoy, who invited us and introduced us closer to the culture and traditions of Belarus using the example of the Vitebsk region. I had the honor and opportunity to visit
Belarus , I was always delighted not only by the economic and industrial potential, but also by the beauty of the country. And most importantly “, I had the opportunity to meet people who live in Belarus: wonderful people, hospitable and friendly,” Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Russia Botirjon Asadov told reporters.
“I liked everything today: condensed
MILK , bread, flax, and other
products , and, of course, the performances of Vitebsk artists - special words of gratitude to them,” the Uzbek diplomat shared his impressions.
In turn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia Dauren Abaev said that he had the opportunity to visit different cities and districts of the Vitebsk region. “Today I have pleasant memories not only of Polotsk and Vitebsk, but also of the whole of Belarus. They are very hospitable people, very welcoming. And everything you do in Belarus, you do with love. Therefore, I always wish Belarus love and happiness.” , he emphasized.
The results of the stay of the CIS ambassadors in the Belarusian pavilion were summed up by Dmitry Krutoy. “Judging by the number of visitors at the Brest Region Days that took place a little earlier and now at the Vitebsk Region Days, we understand that the effect is colossal from this regional concept of our pavilion at VDNKh. We see that there is interest in everything: food, industrial products, tourism potential , culture, and near each stand they tell me that hundreds and hundreds of visitors discover Belarus every day - now through the Vitebsk region,” he noted.
It is planned that before the Independence Day of Belarus, all regions of our country will present their expositions at VDNKh. “Knowing that the President of Russia has decided to extend the main exposition of the exhibition-forum “Russia” (it is currently being held at VDNKh - BELTA) for another six months, we are already thinking about what we will show after July 3 - Independence Day and 80 anniversary of the liberation of Belarus. It is already necessary to think through new concepts,” the Ambassador of Belarus emphasized.
“Our enterprises from regions that have yet to be presented at VDNKh see stories in the media and understand that this is a great opportunity to promote their potential on the Russian market. The level of contacts here is simply enormous, so it’s simply impossible not to take advantage of such opportunities,” - added Dmitry Krutoy.
