Nikas Safronov: I would love to have a country house in Belarus

“I would love to have some kind of house here, somewhere outside the city, I would come with pleasure, as if on vacation, and would work, create, glorify this country and enrich the world,” said Nikas Safronov.

He noted that he is very sensitive to Belarus and considers it one of the best republics, at least in the post-Soviet space. "Because here is a wonderful leader, wonderful people. You come here as if you are in an oasis. There is good milk , good products, kind people, there is no commerce. There is some kind of purity here," he said.

Nikas Safronov said that this time he came to visit his friend Alexander Tikhonov, who is 75 years old. Being a four-time Olympic champion in biathlon, Alexander Tikhonov could choose a place to live anywhere, but he chose Belarus.
