"Milkavita" increased the export of products by 17% in six months

July 21, Gomel. JSC "Milkavita" in January - June of this year increased export by 17% compared to the same period last year. This figure was announced today by the director general of the enterprise Sergey Matsukov at a meeting with a delegation of Bashkortostan headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic Lena Izotova, BelTA has learned.

According to the general director, the share of deliveries of the company's products to foreign markets last year amounted to 63%. "This year, for half a year, we received $35 million in exports - 17% compared to the same period last year," Sergey Matsukov stated. The growth rate of deliveries to Russia reached 160%. In general, the Russian Federation in the structure of foreign shipments of the enterprise accounts for 71%.

Lena Izotova noted that in Bashkortostan there is a lot of Belarusian cheese on the shelves, which is praised by consumers. She believes that Gomel cream and butter will also find their buyer.

"We need to develop regional ties. Regional policy is a priority," Sergei Matsukov stressed.

The head of "Milkavita" said that the company receives up to 600 tons of raw materials per day for processing. There are 160 farms of 41 farms in the region in the raw material zone. The capacities of the enterprise allow processing up to 1 thousand tons daily.

"We can produce up to 600 tons of whole milk products, up to 30 tons of butter, up to 12 tons of cheese, 25 tons of milk powder and 25 tons of dry whey," the head listed.

The assortment of the company includes about 150 items. The products are based on natural raw materials, Sergey Matsukov drew attention. Thanks to the modernization, modern processing technologies have been introduced at the production sites. "However, modernization is a continuous process. New projects are ahead," the general director said. For example, plans include the modernization of the milk powder shop.

The meeting also discussed issues of supply logistics, import substitution, and other topics. “We can offer products of decent quality at a good price. We will be glad to partner,” Sergey Matsukov concluded.
