December 31, MINSK / Corr. BELTA. President of Belarus ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO presented TV presenters with "Good Morning, Belarus!" on rabbits - a symbol of the coming year, BelTA informs.

The journalists visited the presidential courtyard, where many rabbits and birds live, including ostriches, which are exotic for Belarus. The eggs of the latter weigh a kilogram or even more.

We rode a horse and even milked a cow ourselves. The hosts of the TV show were given a detailed tour of the farmstead, told how animals are kept and what part the HEAD of state takes in this. For example, he mows grass for hay for them.

In general, Alexander Lukashenko often visits the courtyard, the animals got used to him, recognize him and are happy to meet him. “Whenever Alexander Grigorievich comes, our cows simply bloom. How they feel that he is coming. If he brings grass or something, it’s just… They hear from afar that the President is coming to us. It’s a miracle,” said one of the workers in the farmstead .

They asked which cow gives the most MILK. "At the moment, Kashtanka. She now gives 35 liters of milk (a day. - Approx. BelTA). She is only six days after calving. Gradually milk comes. I think that she will give 40 liters, maybe more," - shared details with reporters.

At the end, the hosts were in for a surprise - a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko, who presented the girls with a rabbit. “May these rabbits live long. If the rabbit lives well this year, then you will be well,” the head of state wished.

As they said in the video, there are a lot of symbols of 2023 in the rabbitry at the presidential farmstead, including decorative ones: Californian, Burgundy, German angora rabbits, French sheep and others. All of them are tame, soft and kind in nature. “Especially here they have a heavenly existence. The main thing is food. Here is fresh hay, the president himself mows,” they told reporters. The rabbit also lives here, which was presented to Alexander Lukashenko during his visit to the agricultural town of Tikhinichi.

Live in the courtyard and cats. Some time ago, Alexander Lukashenko himself told during one of his working trips about how three kittens came to the farm. "Three kittens nailed me. They gave me milk - they took root. Not a single mouse," the President said.

"Murka brought us four. They took one boy - we gave it as a gift. Nikolaevna and Borisovna remained with us. And this Iriska is the most beautiful with us," they told about local cats in the courtyard. "When the President comes, she always spins around" .
