July 21, MINSK . Without exaggeration, the results of the visit to Nicaragua can be called breakthrough. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko following an official visit to Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, BELTA correspondent reports.

“A small Central American country, we have not had such close relations with them as we have with Venezuela or Cuba for decades. There were mostly fragmentary contacts within international platforms. And here, in fact, the first visit of a Belarusian representative delegation - and immediately a serious result,” he emphasized He.


The Prime Minister recalled that commercial agreements worth a significant amount were concluded in Nicaragua. “More than 700 units of Belarusian equipment will arrive in Nicaragua in the near future. And this is not only equipment, it is also service and spare parts,” said Roman Golovchenko. “And this is just the beginning, because the need is great. We discussed a possible increase in this range.”
The official visit of the Prime Minister of Belarus to Latin American countries ended on July 20. Roman Golovchenko visited Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, where cooperation agreements were reached. In particular, Belarus and Venezuela have outlined steps to restart joint projects in industry and other areas. Agreements on supplies, cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals have been reached with Cuba.
