The farm produces grain and leguminous crops, rapeseed oilseeds, SUGAR beets, vegetables, potatoes, fruits and berries, MILK and beef . "Particular attention is paid to growing vegetables in open and closed ground," said the farm's DIRECTOR , Alexander Bagel. "We have 10 hectares of greenhouses, of which 3 hectares are energy-saving (including 1.5 hectares with lighting - more than 5 thousand lamps have been installed). We introduced light culture in October 2023, and in the same year, in mid-December, we received the first cucumber harvest. Special additional lighting helps accelerate plant growth and promotes faster ripening of the crop . In the future, we plan to continue this modernization: it will begin in the fall and will affect 1.5 hectares. In total, cucumbers are grown on an area of ​​5.5 hectares, tomatoes - 4.5 hectares." According to Alexander Bagel, growing cucumbers as a light crop was profitable by the end of 2024 - the sales profitability was 4.6%. In total, almost 4.3 thousand tons of protected ground vegetables were produced last year. Since the beginning of this year, 200 tons of cucumbers have already been grown. In addition, during this off-season period, it is planned to receive at least 550 tons of fresh produce. The organization supplies products both to the domestic market and for EXPORT . By the end of 2024, the export of goods amounted to $ 224 thousand, or 137% of the 2023 level. The priority is the retail chains of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
