
August 31, MINSK. By the decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, it was agreed to extend the period of state regulation of prices for socially significant goods in the Republic of Belarus until December 31, 2021 inclusive. This was reported to BelTA by the press service of the EEC.
"The decision taken will help ensure the availability of socially significant goods for the population," the press service said.
Belarus has state price regulation for a number of socially important goods, including MEAT, MILK , cheese, butter, wheat FLOUR, rye bread, white polished rice, buckwheat, white SUGAR, baby food, fresh vegetables and apples, canned meat , margarine, pearl barley, table SALT, long leaf black tea, etc.
An appeal from a member of the EEC Council, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko with a proposal to extend the period of price regulation until December 31, 2021 inclusive, was received by the Commission on August 9.
