Last year, the Tula region began exporting pigs to Georgia

To open a new direction, the supplier was certified by specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor department for Moscow, Moscow and Tula regions. In the region as a whole, they control the activities of 44 thousand objects. 

In cooperation with regional and municipal authorities, the department eliminated 18 unauthorized landfills on agricultural lands during the year.

During the meeting, Dmitry Milyaev reported that in 2024 , the Ministry of Agriculture of the Tula Region will implement a mechanism to support poultry farms to increase their level of biological safety.

The area of ​​land involved in the sowing campaign is estimated at 956 thousand hectares. Last year, the total harvest of grains and legumes approached 2.6 million tons. Overall, the agricultural production index was 104.7%.
