Uzbekistan increased meat production by 3.8%


In the first half of the year, about 1.3 million tons of MEAT were produced for all categories of farms. This is a 3.8% increase compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

The largest meat producers are Tashkent (153.3 thousand tons), Kashkadarya (146.5 thousand tons) and Samarkand (145.1 thousand tons) regions. The top five suppliers also include Bukhara (134 thousand tons) and Khorezm (97.2 thousand tons) regions.

The least meat was produced in Namangan region (79.2 thousand tons), Karakalpakstan (41.9 thousand tons) and Syrdarya (34.6 thousand tons) region.
