Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm finally closed production

On Wednesday, December 1, the director of Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm LLC Maxim Maksimov officially announced the termination of the enterprise, and production was completely stopped from the beginning of November.

In an interview with RBC-Yekaterinburg regarding the closure of the poultry farm, Maksimov noted that Ravis was ready to resume production in Verkhnyaya Pyshma if the country needed meat.

The conservation was preceded by litigation and fines related to violation of environmental legislation, and disagreements between the main owner of the Ravis agricultural holding, the former vice-governor of the Chelyabinsk region Andrey Kosilov, and the leadership of the Sverdlovsk region. About the upcoming stop of production became known in August.

The regional government allocated a platform for the transfer of assets and the construction of new facilities to the troubled enterprise, but the top management refused the proposals.
