The Arbitration Court of the Rostov Region decided to recover 3.03 billion rubles from the beneficiaries of OJSC Medvedovsky Meat Processing Plant.

Entrepreneur Nikolai Ozerov, his mother Tatyana Ozerova, cousin Vitaly Zvezdin and Agroprod-Trans LLC were brought to subsidiary liability.

In 2017, Ozerov was sentenced to eight years for credit fraud. During the investigation in the criminal case, it was established that he was the actual owner and head of an informal group of companies, which included the mega-farm JSC Agrobremzavod Industrialny, and developed a scheme for the deliberate bankruptcy of the enterprises of the Medvedovsky Meat Processing Plant holding.

In the process of bankruptcy, Nikolai Ozerov was engaged in the theft of loans from Sberbank and the withdrawal of assets from the property recovery of creditors. The rest of the defendants benefited from his actions. The court found that despite the recognition of transactions with their participation as invalid, the property of the enterprises declared insolvent was not returned to the bankruptcy estate.

The Inagrokom holding, owned by the Ozerov family, united about 15 companies, owned 25,000 hectares of land and a thousand hectares of orchards. The Medvedovsky Meat Processing Plant, founded in 1962, became part of the holding in the 1990s. In 2012, an outbreak of African swine fever occurred at the breeding farm, which served as a raw material base. All livestock had to be destroyed. Loan arrears arose. Subsequently, some companies went bankrupt, and some changed owners.
