According to the report, in January-April of this year, farms of all categories produced 5 million tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight, which is 2.8% more than in January-April 2022. During this period, milk was produced by 3.7% more (10.1 million tons), eggs - by 3.5% more (15 billion pieces).

In April, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight reached 1.3 million tons, which is 2% higher than in April 2022, but 4.2% lower than in March this year. Milk this month produced 2.8 million tons. This is 3.8% higher than in April 2022 and 5.2% higher than milk production in March this year. The number of eggs produced in April reached 3.9 billion pieces, which is 2.1% more than in April 2022 and slightly lower than in March this year.

Agricultural enterprises in April this year increased the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter by 3%, milk - by 7.6%, eggs - by 3.1%.
