Chicken prices in Russia have almost stopped falling

Since the beginning of the year, chicken has gone up in price by 0.9%. At the same time, prices for beef and lamb have gone up by 0.2%, and for pork by 0.1%. Since the beginning of the year, beef has gone up in price by 8.4%, pork by 5%, and lamb by 0.4%. Rosstat also recorded an increase in prices for margarine (0.4%), cooked sausages , dry milk mixtures for baby food and vodka (0.3%), pasteurized milk , bread and cookies (0.2%), while semi-smoked and cooked-smoked sausages, sour cream, sunflower oil and pasta have increased in price by 0.1%. At the same time, eggs have become cheaper by 1.6%, and canned meat for baby food by 0.3%. In 2024 , food prices in Russia increased by 11.4%, and alcoholic beverage prices by 8.3%.
