Russia Increases Poultry Exports to China by 60%

In February, deliveries were almost unchanged compared to January, amounting to $36 million, but this is 2.2 times more than in February 2024 ($16.6 million). Thus, Russia confidently holds third place among poultry suppliers to China . At the beginning of the year, China purchased this product from suppliers from 10 countries, with the main volumes coming from Brazil ($240 million) and Thailand ($74.7 million).

The United States is in fourth place with $38.9 million. In 2024, China imported $430 million worth of poultry meat and by-products from Russia, down 7.3% from $463.9 million in 2023. The country purchased poultry products from 11 suppliers this year, down from 9 last year, with Brazil remaining the leading supplier, with $1.57 billion versus $1.95 billion the year before.
