Rosselkhoznadzor held talks with the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation

For 4 months of 2021, 22 thousand tons of pork were shipped. This amounted to 43% of all pork imports in the country.

On June 11, in the format of a video conference, negotiations were held between the Assistant Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Artem Daushev and the Trade Advisor of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation Duong Hoang Minh.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Russian-Vietnamese trade and economic cooperation in the field of agriculture.

During the negotiations, an increase in the volume of supplies of Russian pork to the Vietnamese market was noted. Duong Hoang Minh, Trade Advisor of the Embassy of Vietnam in Russia, said that 22,000 tons of such products were shipped in 4 months of 2021. This amounted to 43% of all pork imports in the country.

Assistant to the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Artem Daushev emphasized that all products exported from Russia undergo strict veterinary control, laboratory tests are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the importing country. The system of information traceability of livestock products involves control over the turnover at all stages of their production.

The parties noted with satisfaction the results of the development of Russian-Vietnamese trade and economic cooperation and agreed to continue the dialogue on the topics discussed.
