Rosselkhoznadzor prevented 18 attempts to smuggle animal products from China to the Amur region.

From January 1 to August 4, 2025, during hand luggage screening at the Blagoveshchensk checkpoint, shipments of semi-finished meat and fish weighing over 180 kg were detained. All shipments were destroyed due to the lack of appropriate documentation, and the owners were fined under the administrative code. One incident involved the discovery of 90 fresh eggs without documentation, which also led to their confiscation and disposal. The import of animal products is permitted only with accompanying veterinary documents.
