Turkey's red meat production up 9.3%

According to statistics, Turkish red meat production reached 1,952,038 tons in 2021.

Red meat production in Turkey increased compared to last year in 2020-2021. According to Turkstat, the total production of red meat last year is estimated at 1,952,038 tons, up 9.3% from the previous year. The production of cattle meat increased by 8.9% and amounted to 1,460,719 tons, the production of mutton increased by 11.7% and amounted to 385,933 tons, the production of goat meat increased by 4.5% and amounted to 94,555 tons, and the production of buffalo meat increased by 28.6%. and is estimated at 10,831 tons.

При изучении производства красного мяса за последние 10 лет видно, что общий объем производства красного мяса, который составлял 1 067 553 тонны в 2012 году, достиг 1 952 038 тонн в 2021 году.

Общий объем производства красного мяса в прошлом году состоял из 74,8% мяса крупного рогатого скота, 19,8% баранины, 4,8% козлятины и 0,6% мяса буйвола.
