The Borovskaya poultry farm , founded in Soviet times, has long been a leader in the production of chicken eggs in the Tyumen region. However, in 2021, the company faced a major problem - an outbreak of bird flu, which led to the mass elimination of chickens. This seriously reduced production volumes, although in 2022-2023, thanks to the support of the authorities, who allocated about a billion rubles for restoration, the factory was able to regain its lost positions.
Privatization is expected as a way to increase budget revenues in the context of economic instability. Both local and federal investors are expected to show interest in the purchase. The electronic auction process will ensure transparency and attract a wide range of participants, which can increase the competitiveness of the enterprise.
After privatization, the private investor will have the opportunity to introduce new technologies, optimize processes and expand the range of products, which may well lead to an increase in production volumes and the creation of new jobs. Successful implementation of privatization will become an example for other state enterprises, demonstrating the benefits of the transition to private ownership for both the budget and the economy of the region as a whole.
