St. Petersburg entrepreneur Sergey Pavlyuchenko, founder and general DIRECTOR of the it company Inline, on the basis of the Meatinfo.ru trading platform, developed and implemented a Digital Sales Department (DSD) project aimed at enterprises of the agro-industrial complex.
As the creator of the startup “DP” said, investments in total amounted to 80 million rubles. The project has already partially paid for itself, the developers intend to return the rest of the money within 2 years. The platform uses the capabilities of neural networks to analyze offers and the company database, selects an audience, compiles commercial offers and marketing materials, sends out price lists, processes incoming orders and collects analytics.
Customers can be companies from the agricultural sector with revenue from 500 million to 6–7 billion rubles per year. “These are producers and processors of the food market. The central processing center will take over the cold sales section from the sales funnel and will supply managers with a heated flow of leads,” says Pavlyuchenko.
It is worth noting that from January 2024 , in order to receive a number of government subsidies, large and medium-sized agro-industrial companies must introduce AI technologies into their activities.
Experts who reviewed the presentation of the project at the request of a DP correspondent believe that the startup fully meets the needs of customers.
“The service can work most effectively in deep connection with the platform for selling these products. Otherwise, the benefits of the work are significantly reduced,” Pavel Konev , director of IT and innovation at the exporting company of the Dostavka by Sea holding, shared his opinion.
There are now enough tools on the market to automate the sales department. Most of them are not adapted to a specific business , plus you need to combine several solutions in one. The use of LLM models (ChatGPT and similar), according to Konev, allows us to minimize the time for preparing and distributing materials. CDP systems help to collect customer data from different sources, segment it and build communication chains.
At the same time, some market players tend to be cautious about ready-made solutions for business digitalization.
“From my own example, I can say that we did not find an IT company that could offer a solution to one of our problems. The ideas were so raw for the real sector of the economy that we had to implement the Lazarevskoe TECH startup on our own using non-invasive (contactless) weighing animals using AI and smart cameras. Because nothing existing on the market has affected our realities. We are testing the product and planning savings of up to 50 million rubles per year in the company’s volumes,” said the HEAD of the Lazarevskoye agricultural holding, Kristina Romanovskaya.
