Namibia lifts ban on poultry imports from South Africa

The restriction, introduced in September 2023 to prevent the importation of avian influenza, has had a significant impact on the Namibian MEAT market.

Previously, Namibia was largely dependent on chicken imports from South Africa, consuming about 2.5 thousand tons per month.
