Kurgan meat-packing plant "Standard" produced canned food from expired raw materials

The veterinarian of LLC "Kurgan MEAT Processing Plant "Standard"" was found guilty of an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 14.43 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.

At the end of July, the monitoring group, based on data from the Mercury information system, found that more than 17 tons of raw materials were used in the production of canned meat at the meat processing plant, the expiration date of which expired in 2018-2020.

Products manufactured in gross violation of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of meat and meat products" (TR TS034/2013) and "On food safety" (TR TS 021/2011) entered the trade. This was evidenced by electronic veterinary accompanying documents (eVSD) entered in the FSIS "Mercury".

Based on the results of the analysis of the eVSD, employees of the territorial department of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR drew up a protocol on an administrative offense. Responsibility rests with the veterinarian of Kurgan Meat Processing Plant Standard LLC, which allowed the use of expired raw materials and the release of products to the detriment of food safety. The official will be fined in accordance with the law. The decision of the Rosselkhoznadzor came into force.
