This was announced by the chief state veterinary inspector Almaz Khisamutdinov at a meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

He informed that avian influenza had previously been detected in the neighboring Saratov, Samara, Orenburg, Kirov regions, the Republics of Bashkortostan, Udmurtia. Despite the precautions taken, the infection has reached our republic.

Due to infection with the virus, 42,000 birds, 10,000 chickens, 48,000 eggs and 171 kilograms of MEAT were completely destroyed on Frolov's quail farm in the Tukaevsky district.

In all villages in the zone of detection of a dangerous virus, chickens, geese and other birds kept in private farmsteads have been destroyed. Compensation for these birds is not provided.

The HEAD physician of the district veterinary association, Kamil Khairullin, warns that bird flu is also a great danger for poultry kept in private farms.
The virus that causes the disease is left behind by wild geese and ducks. They fly to warmer climes, descend into our reservoirs and rest. There they can leave infectious excrement. Through water, this virus reaches rivers and lakes in villages, causing geese and ducks to become infected.

According to Kamil Khairullin, in early autumn, veterinarians met with poultry owners and advised them to keep chickens, geese, and ducks in a closed paddock. For example, in Chuvashsky Burnaevo, Yury Enzaev, who keeps hundreds of geese on his farm, raised birds indoors. The owners of poultry farms in Kargopol and Novye Chelny were also warned in advance. This year they began to organize goose subbotniks earlier than usual.

Veterinarians say keeping birds outdoors is dangerous. Because the virus is very easy to penetrate, quickly infect birds. it is important to follow the rules when caring for a bird in an enclosed space: shoes and outerwear must be clean.

Now geese and ducks must be slaughtered immediately. Otherwise, you can be left without living creatures.

When buying feed for personal farmsteads, special care must also be taken. Feed sellers should work only on the basis of a veterinary certificate or a document from ROSSELKHOZNADZOR .
