The outlook for Brazilian agricultural exports over the next 10 years remains favorable. Highlights from the 2032 Agricultural Outlook Report, which were presented at the annual 2023 Agricultural Outlook Forum, include forecasts for corn, soybeans and MEAT (beef, pork and chicken).
Brazil's overseas corn sales are expected to increase from 47 Mt (2022/23) to 69.1 Mt in 2032/33. Brazil would then supply 30.7% of world exports (currently 25.7%) and should equal the US in the same year .
The country's share of global soybean exports should increase from 53% to 60.6%, while in the United States, its share will decline from 33% to 28% between 2022/23 and 2032/33.
In the meat industry, Brazil will maintain its leading position in the world in beef and chicken production, while improving its position in overseas sales of pork, becoming the world's third largest exporter after the European Union and the United States.
