Bayish Niyazov and his super stallions! Horses of the Niyazovs in a pasture in the mountains.

pionerprodukt.by continues to publish videos from the AgroExpedition "Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan". In this video, we will talk about the features of keeping horses for kok-boru with the famous Kyrgyz athlete Bayish Niyazov.
Kok-boru “goat-cutting” is a symbiosis of horse racing and games. The riders are fighting for the carcass of a goat - it is necessary not only to take possession of it, but also to hold it, and then throw it into the "cauldron" (gate) of the opponent's team. The game was not banned in the Soviet years, so the locals often played it.
We are interviewing one of the Niyazov brothers, whose name is Bayish. His father worked on a horse breeding farm during the Soviet era, so all children from early childhood began to ride horses and from the age of 15 professionally participate in the game of kok-boru.
Despite the fact that both Niyazov brothers play kok-boru, they do not play against each other. Since this game is a team game, they are together. And in fact, it doesn’t matter who won, the eldest or the youngest, the family is one, and first of all this victory of the father. These are the traditions.
The pionerprodukt.by team is filming horses for the third time. The first shooting was in Kabardino-Balkaria, where we saw how horses are raised for long 1000 km journeys. in 10 days. In Bashkiria, horses were rented for breeding sale. And now, in Kyrgyzstan, there are sports stallions.
As a rule, all horses, including those for kok-boru, graze in schools, in which there are up to 15 mares per stallion. In summer, horses graze on mountain pastures, at about 3,000 meters. In winter, the horses are driven into the valley.
In winter, horses calmly snuggle and feed on pasture. In principle, the farm can afford to feed them, but then the horses will get used to it and will not look for food themselves.
There are about 50 horses in the Niyazov family.
The cost of a foal starts from 3000 US dollars . But there are also stallions that the owners will never sell. The demand for stallions for kok-boru is quite high. They are bought not only in Kyrgyzstan, but also in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
