119 accidents registered in Minsk over the weekend

December 5, Minsk. In Minsk, 119 accidents occurred over the weekend, two road users were injured. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

12 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated, 106 more were fined for speeding. Employees of the capital's traffic police also stopped 59 facts of driving vehicles by lawless people. The inspectors involved 168 drivers for violating the rules for crossing pedestrian crossings.

According to the traffic police of Minsk, over the weekend, 521 pedestrians disregarded the requirements of traffic rules, 49 of them were intoxicated .

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds road users that it is necessary to be extremely careful when driving a vehicle, slow down, increase the distance, avoid sudden movements, keep windows and mirrors clean. Pedestrians should not cross the roadway until all vehicles have stopped. It is reasonable to designate yourself with retroreflective elements.
