80 lawless people identified in Minsk over the weekend

August 1, Minsk. The traffic police in Minsk revealed 80 lawless people over the weekend. BelTA was informed about this by the UGAI GUVD of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

According to the agency, 113 accidents occurred in Minsk over the weekend. 17 drivers were detained for driving while intoxicated, 88 more received fines for speeding. In addition, employees of the State traffic inspectorate identified 80 lawless people. 142 drivers were brought to responsibility for violations of the rules of passage of pedestrian crossings.

As for pedestrians, 356 people violated traffic rules. Of these, 31 pedestrians were under the influence of alcohol .

The inspectors also prevented 87 traffic violations by motor vehicle drivers.

The State Traffic Inspectorate urges all road users to strictly comply with the rules and recommend remembering the safety measures on the roads.
