
December 7, MINSK. In Minsk, on Esenina Street, a drunk driver of a passenger car rammed a trolleybus, BelTA learned from the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
According to preliminary information from the senior inspector for agitation and propaganda of the traffic police department of the Moscow police department of the capital, Lyubov Trepashko, the accident occurred on December 5th. The 41-year-old driver of a Volkswagen car was moving along Esenina Street from the side of Rafieva Street in the direction of Slobodskaya Street. Near house number 119, he collided with a trolleybus that was driving ahead. The man then fled the scene of the accident.
Soon he was detained by officers of the traffic police department of the Moscow police department. The man appeared to be intoxicated. During the examination, 1.69 ppm of ALCOHOL was found in the violator's body. In addition, it was found that the driver had previously been deprived of the right to drive for drunk driving.
With regard to the Minsk resident, administrative protocols were drawn up under part 2 of article 18.15, part 2 of article 18.13 and part 4 of article 18.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
The State Traffic Inspectorate calls on all road users to be prudent. "If you see a drunk driver getting behind the wheel, immediately report it by calling 102," law enforcement officers appealed to citizens.
