A taxi driver hit a drunk pedestrian in Svetlogorsk

The day before, on April 7, at approximately 4.42, a 20-year-old driver of a Volkswagen Polo taxi car, while driving along the streets in Svetlogorsk, hit a 20-year-old pedestrian, who was able towhile intoxicated, crossed the roadway in an unspecified place, without also marking himself with reflective elements.

As a result of the collision, the pedestrian was hospitalized with injuries.

The State Traffic Inspectorate urges drivers to carefully monitor the road situation. When driving a car, it is not allowed to perform rash maneuvers that could lead to the creation of an emergency situation and force other road users to change their trajectory. Pedestrians should remember that crossing the roadway should only be done at a pedestrian crossing, and it is necessary to make sure that drivers notice the pedestrian and give him the right of way.
