"Over the past weekend, investigators across the country dropped out 16 times due to reports of drowning. The main causes of deaths on the water are: ignoring the rules of safe behavior, which in most cases is reinforced by ALCOHOL, lack of parental control over children, swimming in prohibited places," - said in the UK.

So, on June 11, a 46-year-old resident of the Stolin district, together with his friend, drank alcohol while fishing . Subsequently, the drunken men decided to swim in a pond near the village of Verkhny Terebezhov. While swimming, the 46-year-old fisherman began to drown, his friend tried to save the man, but could not. Arriving rescuers removed the body of a local resident from the water.

There is a case when the inability to swim caused the death of a 16-year-old teenager. The guy in the company of his classmates was relaxing on the shore of a quarry reservoir in Orsha. They went swimming on an air mattress. After some time, the 16-year-old student disappeared from sight. Subsequently, OSVOD officers removed the body of the young man from the water. According to preliminary data, the teenager did not know how to swim, but went into the water with friends.

In each case, an investigator went to the scene of the incident, where inspections were carried out with the involvement of specialists from the SCSE, the necessary expert studies were assigned, and eyewitnesses were interviewed. For each fact, investigative units conduct checks. All the circumstances of the incident are established.
