Five people died in two fires in the Minsk region

July 26, MINSK. In the Minsk region, five people died during the day in fires. This was reported to BelTA by the Investigative Committee.

On the afternoon of July 25, it was reported that during the elimination of a fire in the village of Gerdutishki, Molodechno district, the bodies of three people were found. It is preliminary established that the family died - a 65-year-old woman, a 64-year-old man and their 38-year-old son, who abused ALCOHOL. They were residents of Minsk, but in the summer they lived in the Molodechno region. The circumstances of the tragedy and the cause of the fire are under investigation.

On the same day, a message was received about a fire in a residential building in the village of Nareishi, Myadel district. When rescuers extinguished the fire, they found the bodies of two people. The dead are fellow villagers aged 50 and 61. The day before they drank alcohol in the house of a 50-year-old man. The preliminary cause of the fire was called careless handling of fire while smoking.

In both cases, the investigator, together with specialists from the UGKSE for the Minsk region and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, examined the scene of the incident. The territorial departments of the Investigative Committee are conducting inspections.
