"At the moment, more and more often, minors are involved in drug trafficking on the so-called flats or subscriptions. It is their peers who are involved. We all understand perfectly well what the opinion of his company and acquaintances about him means for adolescents in adolescence. At such parties along with alcohol, they offer, as they say, a harmless drug that will make you happy. In fact, everything is quite the opposite, "said Vasily Demidovich.

Often, a drug or psychotropic user wakes up in the morning and finds out what happened to him already from friends or from the Internet, where his so-called friends posted it all that evening, said the deputy head of the department. In practice, both violent and depraved acts of a sexual nature are committed on such flats. The Internet is replete with shots of how, having consumed a hefty dose of a drug, young people perform actions that they would never have dared to do in real life. And such a reputation will haunt the teenager all his life and remind him of what happened, the law enforcement officer emphasized.

The problem acquires particular urgency in the spring and summer, taking into account the departure of parents and legal representatives outside the city. Only over the past weekend - from May 6 to May 8 - a number of crimes and incidents were committed with the participation of children due to the uncontrolled abandonment of minors by their legal representatives at their place of residence for a long time.

For example, on May 6 in Mogilev, while drinking alcohol in an apartment by minors, one of them suffered serious bodily injuries - a fracture of the cranial vault. And it all started corny: nine people drank alcohol , and the victim accused everyone else of being drug addicts and using drugs. And they beat him up.

A resonant event in the same regional center occurred the next day. When five teenagers were drinking alcohol in an apartment, an adult guy raped a 15-year-old girl.

And on May 8, under similar circumstances, a tragedy almost occurred in Minsk. Four girls aged 12-13 bought a bottle of vodka and drank it in the apartment. As a result, three of them were taken to intensive care, and one tried to jump out of the window. Fortunately, a passer-by saw this and called a police squad, which arrived in time and saved the lives of the children.

“The main reason for all this, of course, is the lack of control on the part of legal representatives. Parents leave for the country, leaving the apartment at the disposal of the children. And they invite their friends there and start drinking alcohol. The result is serious consequences,” said the deputy head of the department. .

He emphasized: every parent should take a break from their important affairs and pay attention to the child, find out what he does, is fond of, with whom he is friends and what problems he has.
