A Minsk woman killed her roommate with one blow of a knife during a feast

July 28, Minsk. The Zavodskoy (Minsk) regional department of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the murder of a 54-year-old Minsker. This was reported to BelTA at the USC for the city of Minsk.

On July 25, law enforcement officers were informed that the body of a man with no signs of life was found in one of the capital's apartments. An investigative team immediately rushed to the scene. It is established that the death of the owner of the house is of a criminal nature. "According to preliminary data, the deceased lived with a 39-year-old woman, abused alcohol. On the day of the murder, the couple once again had a feast. After a good dose of alcohol, a conflict broke out between them. The woman grabbed a kitchen knife and hit her roommate. The blow was fatal," - noted in the USC.

Half an hour later, the woman herself called law enforcement agencies. She was unable to explain her actions.

The actions of the Minsker are qualified under Part 1 of Article 139 (murder) of the Criminal Code. She is detained.

Investigators, together with the staff of the State Committee for Combating Economic Affairs, conducted a thorough examination of the scene, recorded a trace picture, carried out urgent investigative actions, and assigned a number of expert studies. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
