The 10th anniversary of Horse Day was held in the village of Novy Kyrlay in the Arsky Municipal District. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan ,Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov, and HEAD of the Arsk Municipal District Almaz Khisamutdinov.
The equestrian festival included endurance races of 40, 80, and 160 km, as well as horse races for Tatar, Thoroughbred, semi-mixed, and local breeds. Various contests, competitions, exhibitions, demonstrations, and an agricultural fair were also organized. Performances by Tatar pop stars added to the festive atmosphere.
In addition to the races, horse breeders had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in competitions for the best carriage and fastest driver, and a master class in horse shoeing was organized.
"Today, we face an important task: not only to preserve but also to enhance the glorious traditions of Tatar horse breeding and to popularize our unique Tatar breed. "I am confident that with the support of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, and our joint efforts, we will be able to raise the prestige of the equestrian industry and support horse owners and breeders," noted Marat Zyabbarov.
According to the minister, the festival's expanding geography, bringing together representatives of various regions of RUSSIA who are passionate about horse breeding, is particularly valuable. "Today, we welcome not only Tatarstan residents, but also participants from 11 regions of our country: North Ossetia-Alania, Penza Oblast, Samara Oblast, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast , Moscow Oblast, Orenburg Oblast, Perm Krai, the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, Bashkortostan, the Chuvash Republic, and Mari El," Marat Zyabbarov emphasized.
Akhmed Usmanov, riding the stallion "Bars RT," won the 1800-meter race for the Tatar horse race, which was held in honor of the Horse Day holiday.
Amir Ametov, on the horse "Klad Leo," won the 1800-meter thoroughbred horse race for the Tatarstan Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports Federation Prize.
Jockey Alexander Kaynov, on the stallion "Sultan Bass," was unrivaled in the 1800-meter race for the "Argamak" prize among half-bred horses.
Ilyas Yakupov, on the horse "Malutka," finished first in the 1800-meter race for the "Selskie Dzhigity" prize.
Bouts in the national equestrian sport of "Horse Wrestling" (Audarysh) also took place. Vildan Yamangulov won the 70 kg weight category; Ilnur Gubaydullin won the 90 kg weight category; and Ilnur Akhmetov won the over 90 kg weight category. And Andrey Klyakin from the Penza Region
won the 40 km all-Russian horse race.on the horse "Gospozha." Dmitry Manuilov from the Moscow Region won the 80-kilometer endurance race on the stallion "Salut," while Viktoria Bezruk from Tatarstan won the junior event on the same distance on the horse "Bounty." In the 160-kilometer endurance race, jockey Zamir Zukhov from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic on the stallion "Khaidar" was unrivaled.
This event is in line with the goals and objectives of the national project: "Tourism and Hospitality."
